MEW Mobile app is a free, non-custodial, and open-source web3 mobile wallet built by the MyEtherWallet team. With MEW Mobile, users and developers can generate accounts, manage tokens and NFTs, and interact with DApps on Ethereum and other EVM chains. Follow the instructions in this guide in order to stake your SKL on MEW Mobile!
Using Skale Network in MEW Mobile, you can stake your SKL with a minimum of 1,000 SKL tokens.
Staking, like any decentralized finance operation, involves inherent risks. Please do your research and keep in mind that Skale Foundation is a third-party provider supported by MEW Mobile. MEW does not have custody of your assets or your stake.
Staking SKL
First, unlock your wallet then select the ‘Earn’ option on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
Select the ‘Skale Network token staking’ option at the bottom.
There will be a pop up informing you about staking and the risks associated. Click ‘Start Staking’ at the bottom.
Here you can stake your SKL. The minimum is 1000 SKL. If you need more SKL, you can click ‘Get more SKL’.
Enter the amount you want to stake then click ‘Stake SKL’.
There will be another disclaimer about the risks involved and the terms of service. Click ‘Confirm’ to continue with your stake.
Review your stake and check the checkboxes once you have verified your stake is correct. Click ‘Confirm’ to continue.
Your transaction is being broadcasted on the blockchain. Once it is broadcast you should see the pop up change to a checkmark.
Now you just need to wait for the transaction to be approved by the validator. This can take up to 2 days.
You can click “Pending validator’s approval” and it will give you more information about the stake. You can also cancel your staking request.
